We strongly believe in the next generation and want passionately to equip future world changers. Fila Pre-Teens inspires pre-teens to seek God on a personal level and deepen their faith on their way to teen age. We want pre-teens to be able to become independent in a safe and encouraging environment making church a place for them.

Hello parents of children in grades 4-6!

The Preteens group at Fila is returning after a short summer break. Preteens is a community for children in grades 4-6, where they have fun and learn more about Jesus and what it means to follow Him. As a church, we want to invest in children and youth and create a place where they can be inspired to build a personal relationship with God, while also fostering friendships and having fun.

Preteens meets every other Friday, on even weeks starting from August 23rd, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The plan for the upcoming fall is to hold every other gathering at Fila and the alternate ones outdoors or at other locations for activities and games.

There is a dedicated WhatsApp group for parents where we provide all the information and share the exact plan for each upcoming Friday. If you would like to join the group, you can send a message to Marie Kohonen at 0505345323, and she will add you to the group. If you do not use WhatsApp but would like to be informed about the Preteens group in some other way, please let Marie know.

Dates for the fall:

• August 23rd: First meeting, Minigolf (not at Fila, but at Hietsu – a note will also be posted on the door)
• September 6th: At Fila
• September 20th: Outdoors, starting at Fila
• October 4th: At Fila
• (There will be a break for the autumn holiday, so no meeting)
• November 1st
• November 15th
• November 29th
• December 13th: Last meeting at Fila – Christmas celebration
