Heart for the House is Fila’s annual campaign where each of us can contribute to building God’s kingdom and deepening our trust in Him through generosity and giving. This year’s Heart for the House theme is “Next Level.” We believe this is a prophetic word both for us as a church and for each of us personally.
Hebrews 13:16 “And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.”
This verse gently reminds us that generosity is part of our worship. It’s not only about giving money, it’s about sharing our lives, our resources, and our love in a way that reflects God’s heart. When we choose to do good and give generously, we participate in what God is building, and we bring joy to Him. It’s a simple, powerful picture of what it means to be the church together.
As followers of Jesus, our passion is to see God’s kingdom grow and every Sunday, we witness how new people give their lives to Jesus. Every month, new believers step forward to strengthen their commitment to Jesus through baptism.
As a church, we also sense that we are stepping into a new phase. Our space is being used to its full capacity, and it’s becoming clear that we will soon need to make room for more people on Sundays. Discipleship has always been at the heart of who we are, and in this season we want to strengthen how we walk with new believers and build clearer, more intentional pathways for spiritual growth for everyone at Fila.
To help lead our church into what God is preparing for us, we are also taking steps toward expanding our pastoral team with new roles in key areas of ministry. This is a significant investment in our future, and an opportunity for all of us to be part of building what God is doing at Fila.
This year as well, the Heart for the House campaign has two parts.
1. Join the regular giving team
The biblical way to participate financially in building God’s kingdom is by bringing tithes to God. Through tithing, the church and God’s kingdom can thrive, and we as a church can take steps of growth.
Use the reference number 1122.
2. Heart for the House 2025 Gift
The Heart for the House gift is primarily for those who are already supporting the church through tithes or whose spiritual home is elsewhere but want to support what God is doing in and through Fila. You can give your gift until December 31, 2025.
Use the reference number 1148.
