Life WKND Fri-Sat 4-5.4.

Flourishing individuals, thriving church!

This weekend we get to gather together around the different topics and areas of life, so that we can live life to the fullest. Jesus said in John 10:10 ‘I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.’ We believe that the work that God does in our lives is something that touches all the areas of life and brings Life! This weekend is all about coming together as a community, connecting with each other and most importantly, Jesus.

Speakers

During the weekend, in addition to Fila’s own team, we will hear from guest speakers who will share messages covering different aspects of life, equipping us to live a vibrant and fulfilling life.

Ray Bevan, UK – Pastor, Speaker, Musician & Author

We are honored to have Pastor Ray Bevan visiting Fila for the entire weekend. Ray founded and led King’s Church in the UK for 25 years, and he now travels globally, sharing the gospel of God’s grace. With his extensive experience in ministry, he has a unique gift for connecting with people in all walks of life. His core message is the grace of God and its impact on our lives. In addition to speaking and teaching, Ray is also a musician, a singer, and an author of several books aimed at helping people deepen their relationship with Jesus and find their destiny in this world.

Marja-Leena Sarjala, Helsinki – Theologian & Psychotherapist

Marja-Leena Sarjala is a theologian, pastor, and psychotherapist with extensive experience in both church ministry and supporting people through crises and life challenges. She comes from Espoo and served as a pastor in the Tuomiokirkko seurakunta for eight years until she became a mother. She has been involved in crisis work, including delivering bereavement messages to families. For nearly 20 years, she has worked as a psychotherapist. Marja-Leena is passionate about building community and believes that the church is a God-ordained community with an important mission in the world.

At Life WKND, she will speak on a crucial and timely topic – mental health – drawing from both her spiritual and therapeutic expertise. Her lecture will cover themes such as:

The impact of everyday choices and lifestyles on our nervous system
The mind and the effects of smartphones and digital messaging
Setting boundaries and learning from the example of Jesus’ life

Markus Myllylä, Vaasa – Entrepreneur, CEO of Novafloor Oy, Honorary Consul of Austria

Markus has been an entrepreneur for 25 years, and his passion and calling is to teach and inspire people in the areas of entrepreneurship and personal finance—how to manage and maintain financial stability. He provides practical and informative financial education, especially for believers. In addition to entrepreneurship, Markus is a family man, the Honorary Consul of Austria, and an active member of the Swedish-speaking Sion Church in Vaasa.

His lecture will focus on key financial themes:

What the Bible says about money and personal finances
How to build and maintain a healthy financial life in different life stages
How to get out of debt and live a debt-free life
How to invest and save money wisely
Essential things to know about mortgage loans

The lecture is designed to be practical and applicable—covering financial topics in a way that Markus believes should already be taught in schools. No prior financial expertise is required; the session is ideal for both those who have never considered financial matters and those who have already given them significant thought. Everyone will find something valuable in this lecture.
