At Fila, we are launching something completely new this autumn. If you have a passion to grow spiritually, learn to understand the Bible better, or perhaps you feel called to work in ministry. We would like to invite you to join The Way discipleship school.
The course is designed to support your journey of following Jesus, deepen your faith, gain a better understanding of the Bible, and discover daily practices that nurture your spiritual growth, allowing you to fully embrace all that God has in store for you.
What’s the curriculum like?
The course content is focused on spiritual growth and discipleship as well as some theological components – as our understanding of God forms us as Christians and as Jesus followers. Throughout the course, we will explore key aspects of faith, spiritual formation, theology a well as biblical knowledge, while also learning how to cultivate a spiritual life that challenges us to apply these concepts practically in our daily lives. Spiritual growth and following Jesus is a lifelong journey to which He calls us. The topics we will cover include the nature and character of God, what it means to be a disciple of Jesus, how to live a Spirit-filled life, understanding and interpreting the Bible, and building a deeper relationship with God.
The Way Discipleship School is a 12-week course, from late September to early December. We meet every Monday at Fila, from 5:30 pm to 8.30 pm. Each time there is time for food and fellowship, two teaching sessions, and discussion and prayer in groups.
The classes will be mainly in English (if the teaching is in Finnish, it will be translated into English). It is possible to participate in group discussions in both Finnish and English.

The course includes a wide range of topics tought by amazing teachers and pastors – including Fila’s own team as well as visiting professionals and pastors.
Price
The school pays the participant 60 euros, which includes food service at the beginning of the evening and a 12-week course.

When: 23.9.–9.12. on Mondays at 17:30-20. The school also includes a weekend 15-16.11. (Friday night and Saturday morning + afternoon at Fila).
*Note: we won’t be gathering on autumn holiday week, monday 14.10.

Price: 60 euros. Can be paid at once, or in three parts (3 x 20€). Choose on the payment page minimum payment of 20€, and we’ll invoice you 20€ each in October and November.
Should I join? The school is for anyone that would like to grow in their faith and relationship with Jesus. You also don’t have to be a part of Fila to join the school, everyone is welcome to join!
