In autumn 2024, we at Fila ran The Way discipleship school for the first time and have since had the privilege of walking the discipleship journey with over 100 students.
If you desire to grow spiritually, deepen your understanding of the Bible, or sense a call to ministry, we invite you to join The Way discipleship school. This course is designed to support your journey with Jesus, strengthen your faith, and help you develop daily practices that nurture spiritual growth.
What’s the curriculum like?
The course focuses on discipleship, spiritual formation, and foundational theology.
Together, we explore key aspects of Christian faith, biblical understanding, and practical spiritual life. Topics include the nature and character of God, what it means to follow Jesus, living a Spirit-filled life, understanding and interpreting the Bible, and building a deeper relationship with God.
The Way Discipleship School is a 12-week course, from beginning of February to mid May. We meet every Monday at Fila, from 5:30 pm to 8 pm. The nights consist of food and fellowship,worship, teaching, discussions and prayer in groups.
The classes will be mainly in English (if the teaching is in Finnish, it will be translated into English). It is possible to participate in group discussions in both Finnish and English.
Teachers
The course includes a wide range of topics taught by amazing teachers and pastors – including Fila’s own team as well as visiting professionals and pastors.
Price
The school pays the participant 75 euros, which includes food at the beginning of the evening and a 12-week course. *Supe early Bird price of 50€ valid from 11.1-18.1.2026

*Note: we won’t be gathering during winter break 16.2, on Easter Monday 6.4 or on Monday 20.4

Price: 75 euros. If you want to agree on a payment plan please contact anna-loviisa.neste@filahelsinki.fi. The first payment is minimum a payment of 20€, and we’ll invoice you the rest in one or two parts later.

The school is for anyone that would like to grow in their faith and relationship with Jesus.
This springs school is designed in a way, that if you were a part of The Way last autumn, this will be a great continuation for you, as well as for everyone that wants to jump in this autumn! You don’t have to be a part of Fila to join the school, everyone is welcome to join.
